I don't live in South Africa - can I enter the competition?
Yes, this competition is open to designers for all around the world. Although the sponsor of this competition, ROLAND DG is based in South Africa - prizes will be sent ANYWHERE in the world.
Does a design only win in the month it was submitted?
No - a design can win any month. The way the competition works is that your entry stays in for the FULL duration of the competition, so a design submitted in June could win the October round for example. The judges change each month and it makes the selections more interesting and diverse. One makes this interesting is that should a weaker design (in terms of design and execution) - then the easier it will make the final round for a strong design. Each month a winner is chosen, but the final round for the grand prizes is chosen from the 12 monthly. entries. So make sure you win a monthly round! We also have 3 runner up prizes chosen from the entire field of entries at the end of the competition.
