The Score 10 brief grabbed my attention not only because South Africa is hosting the soccer world cup this year, but after reading the inspiration behind the S'khotheni project I felt Score 10 is really giving the township children another chance to "SCORE" in their future... I thought a "real-life" wired car would be the perfect representation for this movement, and it happen to fit their brief perfectly! Score 10 takes its name from the Zulu word S'khotheni which is the name used by children living on the street to describe themselves. It means to be wise. If you say the word, it sounds like Score 10. Score 10 as the name suggests is also soccer orientated because soccer teams need to score in order to win. Furthermore, the word score itself is an ancient word meaning 20! Thus Score 10 means 2010!

This is an excellent design and beautifully thought out concept. from an Australian point of view the Zulu meaning of the word and African association does not come across strongly enough. I love the metal car and the whole presentation-brilliant!

Franky loves the car , so i believe the wire-car look is something children can really associate with. Very good idea. (I like it too)
